Page France is sadly no more. I discovered these guys in 2006 when I was at Hope College. I remember listening to their tracks on myspace (what's myspace?) very quietly at the library, avoiding whatever arcane mess of a philosophy paper I was supposed to be working on. They kept me afloat. And quite a few of the vocal tracks I laid down in that era sounded suspiciously like singer Michael Nau's lilty drone. The line, "Jesus came up from the ground so dirty," is a nice counter to the classic image of Jesus showing up for the ascension like he just got his kittel back from the local Clean'n'Press.
